I got my official letter from the state that I will be temporarily laid off for 6 days this summer. 1 day every pay period through the Labor Day holiday. Nice to have a day off but unfortunately I don't get paid for that day either.
We are getting closer to having a signed purchase agreement for our Brown Rd. house. Yipee, but I'm not celebrating yet. Has to pass some inspections & could still be a 6 week process.

Sorry about the layoff...but I guess a day off is okay. Better if it were paid!
ReplyDeletePremature congrats on the sale of the Brown Rd. house. If only we could get so lucky!
Hope all goes smoothly for the sale. I know it would be a relief. The school district is looking at unpaid "furloughs" for all employees for next year, too.
