I'm glad to hear the Pitts made it home safely. Hope you enjoyed your vacation - you sure packed a lot in. Our weekend was quite lovely although our neighbor who was lighting the fireworks for the neighborhood party was injured. One of the 'crackers exploded on the wagon they were working from and caught him in the face. He has burns on his cheek, a bruise along the whole side of his face, and a small cut below his eye. All in all, he was darned lucky. Stick to sparklers, folks. They're a whole lot safer.

Ray and I went out twice for our anniversary and he is still incredulous that we've made it 18 years - not that I had any doubt. It just sounds like a long time! I still have the family picture taken that day on my wall. I think it is the last one taken with everyone there. Wow!
