holiday weekend!

Hope everyone had a great 4th holiday!!  We opt to get out of the city to a far northern suburb called, Crystal Lake.  Our Aunt Sandee and the rest of the Giffels love having Flynn up there.  Her kids are between 7 and 13, and all three of them play with Flynn so well!  Saturday we went to a carnival and won some silly toys.  Sunday morning, Patrick, Uncle Dave, and I rented a boat at a nearby state park and got some fishing in.  I caught 2 pretty good size bass, Patrick caught 1, and Uncle Dave will have better luck next time.  The picture is my fish, but I was so shocked I got something so big, and not really prepared to grab it for the photo.  Pat's fish is about the same size.  After fishing, we attended a lovely parade then headed back to the city.  It was a great weekend!!
