Update on Scott

Really, no update.

We've had tests and more tests. It's like an episode of "House". Scott has had blood draws, urinalysis, ultrasounds, throat and sinus swabs, etc., etc., ad nauseum. We've seen a GI specialist and an infectious disease specialist. They've had some theories, a couple of them quite scary, which they've then debunked. So, we wait.

As far as his pain and discomfort, they have been managing it with Tylenol and pretty strong pain meds, so he's resting a little more comfortably than a few days ago, but his fever is still high and his color is still yellow-ish.

The babies are doing well - as of last night Rowan's fever had broken, and my Mom did a great job keeping them from being too shaken up by our absence. Let's hope Scott's mom has the same success.

I'm hanging in there. Last night Scott slept well, which meant I did, too. I'm getting home mid-day to shower and love on the babies a bit before I head back to the hospital for the afternoon rounds of doctors.
