Thanksgiving and beyond...

Glad to hear that all had such wonderful celebrations on Thanksgiving. Eric, Mozart and I drove to Buffalo, New York to spend the holiday with my aunt and family. We stayed with my cousin Matt and his wife, Lora. Some of you may remember that we ventured to Buffalo at the end of December a couple years ago for their wedding. We enjoyed our time with family - played a lot of Beatles Rock Band, cards and board games. Dinner was delicious. My Aunt Chris makes amazing stuffing - even Eric ate some and liked it!

The drive home was way longer than we would have liked. We were way-layed about an hour north of Columbus. Traffic literally came to a screeching halt. The freeway looked like a parking lot. We traveled about 12 miles in just over 2 hours - ridiculous! The crazy part is we never saw any indication of why - no accident, no construction...bizarre.

Eric got the lights up outside before we left and we put the tree up but didn't decorate it until we got home. The house feels very festive with the tree, garland over the mantel and our stockings "hung with care" in front of the fireplace. Enjoying the holiday season this year. :)
