I sat through the calling of 3 prospective jury panels. They randomly call 30 numbers at a time and missed me each time. Yay. Job is still going great. Our DJJ team has a meeting tomorrow to get our "process" down on paper so we meet the criteria for the state & federal grants. This might clear up some questions for me.
Next week, I'm having my right leg treated for varicose veins. It is a relatively new procedure called endovenous laser therapy and uses a laser fiber inserted into the vein. Laser ablation inside the vein makes the vein close up. The veins are quite painful during/after jogging and even walking sometimes. It is very low risk, there is no general anesthesia so no prep, and I can go to work right after. The left leg is scheduled for the following week.
